Due to the high level of interest, the planning partners are offering an additional opportunity to view the model and plans. And now the posters are available on the website.
Covering an area of 300,000 m², the Klybeck site in the north of Basel is one of the largest regeneration sites in Switzerland. The industrial zone is situated between the rivers Rhine and Wiese, bordering the Klybeck and Kleinhüningen districts to the north and the Matthäus and Horburg districts to the south. A vibrant, diverse urban district is taking shape here, bringing benefits to the whole region – with space for 8,500 residents, 7,500 jobs, and facilities for leisure and culture.
The new district is taking shape, as the planning partners showcase their vision of what the area on the current Klybeck site between the Wiese and the Rhine will look like after regeneration.
